Alexander was recently released by the Green Bay Packers while Ramsey has been looking to be traded from the Miami Dolphins this offseason. Both cornerbacks are multiple-time pro bowlers, and each have put up very productive seasons when healthy, as they have both struggled with injuries throughout their whole careers.
The Falcons are coming off a season where there was a lack of production from the secondary and adding either one of these cornerbacks could change the trajectory of the defense. The Falcons must make a move soon, because plenty of other teams are looking into Alexander and Ramsey.

The Falcons have been looking to add some veteran leadership and productivity to this young roster, and here are why Alexander and Ramsey could be good fits.
Jalen Ramsey
Ramsey is a 7-time pro bowler, 3-time first team all-pro, and won a super bowl with the Rams. Ramsey is one of the best cornerbacks in this generation and has 24 career interceptions and 108 career pass deflections.
Ramsey has been on the trade block since April 15, 2025, and the Falcons have been one of the primary teams looking to make a deal for him. The Falcons could gather some assets and make a move soon and bring Ramsey to Atlanta.
Jaire Alexander
Alexander has been one of the best cornerbacks in the league when healthy and has been a pro bowler in his last two fully healthy seasons. He was recently released by the Packers after an injury ended his season prematurely once again.
The Packers had been looking to move Alexander for some time, as his injury problems had truly hurt his career in Green Bay. The Falcons could look to be a top candidate for Alexander as they look for a productive veteran in their secondary.
Both cornerbacks are very valuable, but both have had their fair share of injury concerns. The Falcons could look past that and make some moves before the season starts.
