Jeremy Sochan's trip to Phoenix is confusing Suns fans in hilarious way

Jeremy Sochan is the biggest troll on San Antonio's roster, and we love him for it. With all the rumors swirling around the Spurs and a potential deal for Kevin Durant, the Polish Prince's timing on his trip to Phoenix is head-scratching to Suns fans. They seem to believe that his presence there is the writing on the wall for his inclusion in a deal. That's not happening, though. He knows it.

"..it is also believed that the Spurs are only willing to discuss veterans such as Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson & Harrison Barnes."

There's no reason to include Sochan in a deal for Durant. They are not in a position of power. It's quite the opposite, actually. They're struggling to recoup assets they lost when they built their roster with players who don't fit together, and San Antonio is not about to be the lifeline they desperately hope to receive.

Unfortunately for Suns fans, this trip is nothing more than a preplanned training session.

Sochan is a key piece to the Spurs' future

It's so fascinating to see the difference between how some view this kid and how the front office views him. They clearly have high hopes for him. They've made that clear in how much they've moved him around, giving Jeremy different roles to learn. He's spent time as the point guard, and he's played center, but he's neither. However, those skills will only improve his evolving toolkit.

Sochan is the Swiss-Army knife on the roster. His versatility gives San Antonio the option of rolling out different lineups they'll use to throw monkey wrenches in their opponent's plans as he evolves as a player, they evolve as a team, and start to make noise in the playoffs. That's coming soon, so stay tuned.

Could it be a coincidence that the young wing is posting photos with his location text so large? Sure. But we know that Sochan likes to poke the fans of other teams, just like he enjoys the agitator role he's taken to so beautifully on the court. It's part of his personality, and one Spurs fans enjoy when he gets into his bag.

The former Baylor Bear will get in the face of opponents, come to his teammates' defense, or throw out an unexpected, but very much supported "F*** Houston" into a microphone. The 210 encourages all of this behavior. Nobody wants a soft team. They don't do well.

The NBA is a tough place to play, and it's difficult to win a championship. Just look at the trouble OKC is having now that they've reached the NBA Finals after being looked at as the overwhelming favorite. The Pacers brought the fight to the Thunder, and they're having to up their intensity to a level they didn't have to push before.

Those teams have guys like T.J. McConnell, Alex Caruso, and Benedict Mathurin, to name a few, who don't back down. They play with physicality, they annoy you, and they poke you to get you off your game. Sochan can be the final boss of that archetype, and the Spurs have him on their roster already. There's no way he's going anywhere.
