A number of Everton targets are plying their trade at the under-21 European Championship this summer.
The Friedkin Group want to sign young talent at Everton, with the current squad the third oldest in the Premier League.
So naturally, Everton have multiple targets away in Slovakia, with two of them in action this evening.
Manchester City’s James McAtee and Liverpool’s Jarrel Quansah both played 90 minutes in England’s goalless draw against Slovenia.

Everton have explored a £30m deal to sign Quansah, whilst the left-footed playmaker James McAtee has been on Moyes’ radar for a while.
Here’s how the national media reacted to their performances.

Quansah impressed in the first group stage match against the Czech Republic, but it certainly wasn’t his best display tonight.

Here’s what GiveMeSport had to say about Quansah’s performance.
6/10 – “Looked a little cumbersome in the heat at times.”
GOAL added.
5/10 – “Quansah made a sloppy start with some poor passing gifting Slovenia territory.”
The data suggests otherwise, interestingly, with Sofascore awarding him a 7.3 rating.

James McAtee fails to impress
Quansah, in fairness, did his main duty, which was to keep a clean sheet, and he did make some key blocks.
McAtee, on the other hand, failed to create anything of note and actually missed a big chance to put the Three Lions ahead.
GiveMeSport weren’t impressed.
5/10 – “Denied by Turk early in the second-half, but should have scored. Not quite at his best.”
Goal viewed his 90 minutes similarly.
5/10 – “Had a few opportunities but couldn’t force the breakthrough.”
The 2002-born did make one key pass, suggesting he was worth an assist, but the stats don’t make for particularly great reading.
