The NFC North is tough. You could make pretty convincing arguments for the Packers', Lions', and Vikings' title chances, which, for Bears' fans, will be exciting on random Monday (and Thursday) nights, and otherwise just a huge, miserable headache.
So any time someone besides the Bears makes an unforced error, it's always worth celebrating. These moments aren't going to come around too often, especially once Toyotathon comes around. Hypothetically, when a team – let's call them "the Packers" – does something as silly as, say, cutting their best (and really, only good) cornerback, it's worth making sure everyone sees it.

And when, hypothetically, that team then turns around and tries to make one of their wide receivers a cornerback three years into his NFL career, for reasons that definitely aren't related to their personnel issues, it's also worth making sure everyone sees it. So here it is:
The Packers' cornerback situation looks awfully bleak right now
The Packers solution at cornerback is… Bo Melton?!?! He’s out working with the CB group.

Obviously Melton is not the longterm answer for Alexander's exit, but let's not let the details get in the way of a great story. The optics of this alone are good enough to laugh at, and what's the point of being a Bears fan if you're not going to take the opportunities you're given to laugh at bad Green Bay optics? Not only did the Packers mismanage the Alexander situation so poorly that they had to eventually let him walk for nothing, but they turned around and then publicly ran out a wide receiver in his place. That is The Good Stuff.
For now, nothing else matters. Today, there are no problems in Chicago so bad that they're trying to replace their star cornerback with a wide receiver. Today, we get to laugh at the Green Bay Packers.
