Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo could complete his move to Manchester United this week
Manchester United are heading into the second part of the summer transfer window desperate to complete some big deals to help overhaul their squad in Ruben Amorim's image.
Thanks to the exceptional early transfer window, United have already completed one major signing to improve their team. Matheus Cunha arrived from Wolverhampton Wanderers after his £62.5 million release clause was met by the Reds. However, he is not expected to be the last new addition to this squad before the pre-season begins.
With this in mind, MEN Sport has taken a look at four deals that United could complete this week to set themselves up for a busy summer.
Bryan Mbeumo
Perhaps the most likely new addition this week is the Brentford forward. Reports before the weekend suggested that Tottenham Hotspur were keen to add the winger to their squad after appointing his old boss Thomas Frank.
Not only that but Mbeumo was intrigued by the prospect of joining Spurs. However, the Cameroonian's stance for the time being is that he favours a move to United over other teams and that should hopefully give the Reds the edge.
Mbeumo is seen as the club's top target at present and there will be a desire to get that deal done this week before moving on to other priorities.
Marcus Rashford
Should United get the Mbeumo deal over the line, the next priority will be sales to help boost Amorim's transfer pot. Rashford is one of those likely to exit this summer having fallen out with Amorim last winter.
He spent the remainder of the campaign on loan at Aston Villa and while a move to Villa Park permanently appears unlikely, Barcelona have already spoken about their interest in him. Since then, Rashford has been putting in the hard yards to rebuild his fitness following injury and he appears to be in a position again to undergo a medical.
With this being the case, perhaps an exit for Rashford could be sealed this week.

Antony
While Antony has not fallen out with Amorim in the same way that Rashford has, he is still as likely to exit the club. Out of all of those who United are looking to sell, Antony arguably has the highest stock at present.
The Brazilian impressed at Real Betis and reports have claimed that the Seville club are trying to negotiate another deal for the winger this summer. The priority for United will be to sell Antony to reclaim some funds and it will be intriguing to see if this advances further this week.
Rasmus Hojlund
The Danish striker has insisted that he expects to be part of the plans at Old Trafford next season but after such a difficult second season in the Premier League, rumours persist that he could be on the way out of the club. Inter Milan are reportedly the team pushing hard to sign Hojlund and a move to the San Siro could be good for all parties.
It is thought, according to the Italian media, that United want no less than £38m for Hojlund this summer to avoid a PSR (Profit and Sustainability Rules) loss. Whether Inter are willing to reach that mark remains to be seen but they are thought to be very keen on the centre-forward so this deal could accelerate in the next seven days.
