Chelsea get their FIFA Club World Cup campaign underway tonight as they take on Los Angeles FC at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The Blues will be hoping to win that £97 million prize for winning the revamped competition in the United States and it all gets going this evening. For Enzo Maresca, it is the chance for a second trophy in his debut season with the club, less than a month after he and his players lifted the Conference League trophy in Wroclaw.
Chelsea have taken a 28-man squad over to the States and on the list are new signings Liam Delap, Mamadou Sarr and Dario Essugo. All three of them will be hoping to make their debut for the Blues in Atlanta, while Mike Penders has also arrived after a deal being agreed for the young Belgian goalkeeper less than 12 months ago.
It will be intriguing to see just how strong Maresca goes with his team selection. This match in particular is likely to show us just how seriously the Italian and his players are taking this new-look tournament.
With all of this being said, Bobby Vincent has done his best to try and find a way into Maresca's mind. Below is our predicted XI for this evening's Club World Cup clash.
