Rogers has established himself as one of the most exciting and highly-rated attackers in the Premier League since leaving [Boro](http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/middlesbrough) for Aston Villa in January last year.
His form for Villa and England has turned heads, with Chelsea said to be keen on the 22-year-old. And Arsenal have also reportedly included the former Boro man on their list of potential targets this summer as Mikel Arteta plots a fresh Premier League title push next season.
And Boro are keeping tabs from afar because the Championship club would significantly benefit if any of the interested clubs were successful in their audacious pursuits of Rogers this summer. Liverpool were also linked last month.
[Boro](https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/middlesbrough/) included a very healthy sell-on fee in the deal that took Rogers to Villa Park last January.
Boro have already benefited from a string of add-ons, with Champions League football last season and England honours both triggering payments from Aston Villa.

Villa failed to qualify for next season's Champions League, which only increases the financial pressure ahead of this month's PSR deadline, and they're likely to have to sell before the end of June.
But they're said to be desperate to keep hold of Rogers, who is one of the crown jewels in Unai Emery's squad. And if they do need to offload stars this month, they'd much prefer to take a hit on others rather than lose Rogers, despite the fact he would command a mega-fee.
Emi Martinez is said to be wanted by Manchester United, Jacob Ramsey has been linked with Newcastle and Leon Bailey is wanted by clubs in Saudi.
Rogers started 37 of Villa's 38 Premier League games last season and has also quickly established himself in Thomas Tuchel's England side.
Rogers took to social media to pay tribute after Michael Carrick was dismissed as Middlesbrough head coach earlier this month.
He wrote on Instagram: "What a guy, all the best gaffer".
Rogers joined Boro for just £1m in the summer of 2023. At the time he was way down the pecking order at Manchester City, didn't feature in Pep Guardiola's plans and had been out on some underwhelming loan moves. But Boro identified the forward's potential and he left the Riverside in a deal worth £16m just six months after joining.
