Liverpool transfer news LIVE - Andy Robertson latest, Florian Wirtz deal, Ibrahima Konate link

Florian Wirtz in action for Leverkusen.

Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz.

Hello and welcome back to the Liverpool transfer blog on Monday, June 16.

Following a short break, the summer transfer window is back open and Liverpool can once again start doing their business. The first port of call will be Bayer Leverkusen's Florian Wirtz - who is set to join for a fee that could reach £116m when add-ons are taken into consideration.

Wirtz will become Liverpool's record signing once his arrival is officially agreed. Elsewhere, Andy Robertson's future was thrown into doubt this weekend after it emerged that Atletico Madrid were looking into a potential deal.

Atletico are currently playing at the revamped Club World Cup, but this has not stopped them from eyeing the Scottish defender who has just one more year remaining on his deal. Meanwhile, there are some fears that Real Madrid are hoping to repeat their Trent Alexander-Arnold trick with Ibrahima Konate next summer.

Spanish reports claim that Los Blancos want to sign the centre-back when his contract expires at the end of next season. On a more positive note, Milos Kerkez looks all-set to be the next signing for the Reds with his move from AFC Bournemouth moving ever closer.
