Ethan Nwaneri played 71 minutes as England U21s were left frustrated in their second Euro U21 group match against Slovenia.
Having made a positive impact as a substitute in the opening win over Czechia, Ethan was deployed as a starter by Lee Carsley as the Young Lions looked to secure their place in the Euro U21 quarter-finals.
Our attacker had one good opening but couldn't find the net after being set up by Jonathan Rowe. Ethan was substituted on 72 minutes and replaced by Jay Stansfield as the Young Lions continued to search for a winner.
But neither side could make the breakthrough and leaves England needing a point in their final match against group leaders Germany to guarantee a place in the last eight.
