Man United star Alejandro Garnacho might move to PL rivals in the summer with Tottenham interested in his services.
We are just three weeks into the summer and Tottenham have already made a lot of changes for next season. The Lilywhites relieved Ange Postecoglou from his duties after the season ended, and replaced the Australian tactician with Thomas Frank. Now that the managerial situation is sorted out at N17, the North London club will look to shift their focus on bringing in some quality players.
The Lilywhites managed to save their blushes last month after ending the campaign on a high note. Spurs defied all odds and won the Europa League after being the clear underdogs heading into the final. Winning the competition also meant that the North London club qualified for Champions League football next season.

However, the Europa League success should not overshadow the constant failures in the Premier League. The Lilywhites need to sign some reinforcements in the summer if they want to compete on four fronts and close the gap on their rivals next season. Getting the right players in will be crucial for the club, as Thomas Frank looks to kickstart a new era at N17.

Tottenham attackers struggled to find consistency this season, and the direct consequence of that was the disastrous Premier League campaign that Ange Postecoglou’s men endured. There is a clear need to bring in new forwards in the summer if the North London club wants to build on the Europa League success next season under Thomas Frank.
As per Daily Mail, Spurs are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United in the summer. The Argentina international has fallen out with Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford and has been told to find a new club for next season. With his M16 future heading towards a dead-end, the 20-year-old prefers to stay in the Premier League and look for a new club in England.
However, Tottenham are not the only ones willing to test the waters for his services. The aforementioned report states that Cheslea, Aston Villa, and Napoli are also interested to add the Argentine to their ranks for next season. Man United are aware that the 20-year-old would bring in a lot of suitors, and have slapped a £70m price-tag on him. He also has three years left in his contract, so the Red Devils are looking to make pure profit through his sale quickly.
Signing Alejandro Garnacho would be the right move for Tottenham, given the lack of quality wingers the Lilywhites have in their ranks. With Heung-Min Son heading towards a potential exit in the summer, Daniel Levy will be doing a good job by signing Garnacho as his potential replacement. But it is also important to note that the Argentine comes with a lot of baggage and one of the reasons for his falling out with Ruben Amorim was his poor attitude off-the-pitch.

The 20-year-old would fit in perfectly at N17 though. Garnacho is explosive during counter-attacks, likes to take on his man time and again, and also tends to create chances for his teammates from the by-line. This is something that Thomas Frank wants his wingers to do during games. But there are a few flaws in the Argentine’s game that need to be improved. He is still a raw talent and needs to improve his finishing, and he also tends to make the wrong decisions in the final third of the pitch during a counter-attack.
