Newcastle United forward William Osula lit up UEFA's Under-21 European Championships once again over the weekend with a two-goal blast for Denmark to sink Holland.
Osula's brace took him to three goals and one assist in the tournament with the Dane hardly sulking about his lack of a summer holiday. But while some of his team-mates enjoy the sunshine and a beer or two, Osula is making a name for himself at the Euros in Slovakia.
With Denmark booking their place in the quarter-finals last night, Osula's adventure is set to continue in eastern Europe. As Chronicle Live reported last week, Newcastle have blocked any loan moves for the 21-year-old but he offered an indication of his ambition after scoring for his country last night.
Osula told UEFA.com: "Personally, I always have high hopes; I always set my standards high, so probably not. We have to push like this, and we have to perform well like this. I believe we can go a long way.
"It was very good result; very happy that we're through to the quarter-finals now. Looking forward to that. That's what the target and the aim was for this game."
If Denmark can stay on track for glory at the Euros, it will lead to a later return date to pre-season. However, after failing to start any Premier League matches last season the exposure is arguably good for Osula this summer.

When asked about Osula's loan options, assistant coach Jason Tindall said: "That's something we have to sort of assess, I'd say, week by week, month by month.
"We've got no plans to sort of send Will out on loan, he's an important part of the squad right now and we know in football, things can change very, very quickly.
"We've seen it time and time again throughout our managerial career, not just here.
"As I said, with the likes of Lewis Hall and Tino and young players especially, they probably do get a little bit impatient and frustrated at times, but it's important that they stay grounded, they keep working hard every single day and the work they put in on the training ground will go a long way to them."
Osula could have an enhanced role to play next season with Newcastle competing on multiple fronts, having qualified for the Champions League.
It will see the Magpies play eight games in Europe's premier competition, and Eddie Howe will need a bigger, stronger squad to tackle the campaign.
Osula is currently one of only two centre forwards at the club, after Callum Wilson's departure, although Wilson remains in talks over a potential new deal. Newcastle hope to add another frontman to the squad this summer, as well as a rightw-inger.
Osula also played on the right side of the attack in some games last term. He ended the campaign with one goal to his name, a header against Ipswich Town.
While United will look to spend big on attacking reinforcements this transfer window, the 21-year-old could emerge as a vital back-up striker if he maintains his form.
