Patrick Schick could end up being a household name for Man United this summer.
Patrick’s Red-Hot Form Grabs Attention United
Bayer Leverkusen’s Patrick Schick is turning the heads of clubs across Europe as he has had a great last season.
🚨⚫️🔴 Patrik #Schick has received multiple enquiries, including from the Premier League and Serie A.
However, staying at Bayer 04 Leverkusen is absolutely possible at this stage. Erik ten Hag wants to keep him, and Schick sees it as a fresh start.

Last term saw him score 27 goals for Leverkusen in all competitions. The striker has enjoyed a great season ending with 21 goals in the Bundesliga. Only Harry Kane had more goals then him last campaign. He managed to bag 81 goals in 168 games for Leverkusen. That is making him one of the most consistent performers in Germany.
Premier League and Serie A clubs have already come knocking, as per Sky Sport’s Florian Plettenberg. While Leverkusen are in no rush to sell. That is especially after ex-Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag is now at the helm. They’ll need a strong offer to tempt them. With two years left on his contract, the club may also consider extending his deal if a move doesn’t happen.
No.9 Search Could Lead United to Schick
The Red Devils are clearly in the market for a new striker. And Schick is now in a long list of potential targets. The club has been linked with names like Hugo Ekitike, Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen already. These all are likely to cost big money.
Although, slightly older, Schick is a more affordable and more tested solution. He is not a household name like the younger stars. However, his recent goal spectacular illustrates he can score goals from a number nine position for manager Ruben Amorim despite an injury-laden 2022/23. His bounce-back season in 2024/25 indicates perhaps that he is back into form.
United’s spending are capped at the moment at Old Trafford. If United were to spend on a striker, there is a good chance it would be someone like Schick.
