**Before we go anywhere with this one, we don't believe for one second that Bruno Guimaraes will leave Newcastle United this summer.**
Bruno Guimaraes has become one of the most popular players at Newcastle United. Not just adored by the fans, but revered by his teammates and seen as such an influential player that Eddie Howe handed him the captaincy.
That love goes both ways too, with Bruno always speaking highly of the club, the fans and the region, calling his children Geordies.
So are we worried that our Brazilian captain has eyes on a move elsewhere? Absolutely not.

A report from Brazil has suggested Bruno is in talks to leave Newcastle
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
With all that being said, though, a report from [UOL](https://www.uol.com.br/esporte/colunas/mercado-da-bola/2025/06/14/bruno-guimaraes-resiste-a-tentacao-saudita-por-sonho-de-ser-titular-na-copa.htm) in Brazil has suggested that Bruno's agent has entered talks with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad over a summer move.
What adds an extra layer of bullshido to this one is that Al-Ittihad is also owned by the PIF, so they would literally be hindering their flagship club to help one of their side projects.
The fact that the story originates from Brazil, where they likely have little understanding of what's happening at Newcastle and the whole PIF owning so many clubs thing, it's not too much of a shock to see stories like this surfacing.
Bruno Guimaraes still has work to do at Newcastle
-------------------------------------------------
Bruno Guimaraes may have achieved his goal of ending Newcastle United's trophy drought last season, but as he has said several times, that's only made him hungry for more.
It's not going to be a case of leaving us in the lurch after doing what he promised to do. Bruno loves Newcastle United, and he believes he can win the Premier League with them, so he's not going to go until that becomes a reality or becomes absolutely impossible.
Bruno is a Geordie!
