Spectators at a ceremony to mark the last-ever match for the men’s team of Premier League club Everton at its home of 133 years were entertained by a range of NEXO GEO M line arrays.
Liverpool-based event production services and AV technology specialist MSP Global deployed six stacks of GEOM10/MSUB15 and GEOM12/MSUB18 for the event at Goodison Park, which followed Everton’s 2-0 victory over Southampton.
The stacks were powered by 10 NXAMPMk2s, while NEXO P12s were used for monitors.
The ceremony featured a parade by current players and Everton legends, along with live music and specially curated big-screen content. It was hosted by television presenter Gethin Jones and former world boxing champion Tony Bellew.

MSP Global's founder and managing director, Colin Reader, said: “We have a 25-year association with Everton and have been privileged to assist with many events at Goodison Park over the years – but this one is obviously the most poignant.

“It was also probably the most challenging, with just 15 minutes available for us to equip three stages. In all, 120 people were involved in the set-up, which was ready right on time.”
Next season, the team will take up residence at the Hill Dickenson Stadium at Liverpool’s Bramley-Moore Dock, a new 52,000-seat stadium that is equipped with a NEXO sound system installed by TG Baker Sound.
