Liverpool reportedly face a transfer deadlock as Spanish giant FC Barcelona have made up their mind on the Reds forward.
Barca have reportedly set their limit at €51m for Colombian winger Luis Diaz, who only wants to join the Catalan club if he leaves Anfield this summer.
According to reports from Diario Sport, Liverpool wants around €68m for Diaz. But Barcelona are not willing to exceed €51m, as they have other options besides the 28-year-old left winger.

Barcelona eyeing left-wing reinforcement
Hansi Flick reportedly wants a natural left winger this summer. In his first season, he had no specialist for that position and had to play Raphinha on the left wing, even though it’s not his natural role.
Raphinha had the best season of his career in that position. He scored 34 goals and provided 24 assists in all competitions for Barca.
He was the top scorer and top assist provider in the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League as well, making him a strong contender for the Ballon d’Or.
However, after their heartbreaking UCL semifinal loss to Inter Milan, the club is now preparing to move Raphinha into the No. 10 role. That leaves room to bring in a proper left winger this summer.
They have multiple names in that position, and Luis Diaz was one of the main targets for the German manager. The Colombian is also looking forward to his future at Camp Nou, as earlier reports suggested he is keen to join Barca if Liverpool decides to sell him.

Liverpool reportedly values Diaz at nearly €68m, while Barca wants the forward for €51m. They could get Nico Williams for a cheaper deal because of his €58m release clause.
As of now, there’s no sign of Liverpool lowering their asking price. The Merseyside club haven’t made a final decision on whether to sell or keep Diaz. The situation between Diaz and Liverpool remains 50-50.
