Rashford was shown the door in the January transfer window and moved to Champions League side, Aston Villa, on loan till the end of the season – with an option to buy for £40 million.

Aston Villa decided against signing the talented Englishman due to his high wage demands.

In 2023, following an outstanding personal season, Rashford signed a 5-year-deal at Manchester United on a deal worth reportedly over £325,000 per-week.

According to CaughtOffside, sources close to Rashford have said he is still out of favour with Ruben Amorim for next season, leading to speculation developing over his future at the club.

A number of clubs are rumoured to be interested in the pacy-forward, however a vast majority of the clubs interested cannot meet his wage demands.

As per CaughtOffside, it has been revealed that Rashford has taken a major U-turn in his stance on leaving Manchester United.

Rashford is willing to take a pay cut in order to leave Old Trafford this summer.

With a desire to move to Spanish giants Barcelona, Rashford will be hoping this will encourage the Spanish club to make a move for him and favour him over Spanish youngster Nico Williams.

Rashford was previously against taking a wage cut, but due to his high demands putting his suitors off, he is happy to reduce his wages and land himself a move away from Manchester United.

It will be interesting to see where the United academy graduate will end up this summer, whether that be a permanent transfer or out on loan.

This transfer saga is still in it’s early stages, but it seems inevitable that Marcus Rashford will leave Manchester United.
