“Fatherhood Showed Me Something New”: Dak Prescott Reflects On Raising Daughters In…

Dak Prescott, quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, recently opened up on being a father to his two daughters on the occasion of Father’s Day, in a conversation with reporters. Prescott recently became a father for the second time with his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, with whom he already has another daughter, Margaret Jane.

Prescott revealed that in becoming a father to his two children, he has better understood the love that his own mother showed to him. The talented quarterback also spoke up on how much more he gives importance to the small moments after becoming a father.

“I’m blessed to have the opportunity to raise two girls alongside my fiancée. To have a beautiful family, healthy family, for me it’s just about being grateful and not taking the moment for granted when I’m with them. But I’ve been through things in my life that I don’t necessarily think fatherhood just showed me something new. I understand the love that my mom had for me, right, in a different way now that I have kids. But I think when you have some of the adversity that I’ve had you’re so thankful for everything you’re given, the good and the bad and anything in between that fatherhood is no different now. It just makes me even more focused on the small moments.” Dak Prescott spoke out on his fatherhood experiences on Sunday.

Dak Prescott States He Wants To Win A Super Bowl

However, Prescott’s words are pretty far from the truth, especially considering his latest stats with the team over the past couple of seasons. In the 2024 NFL season, the starting quarterback played only a few games before a disastrous hamstring injury ruled him out of the remainder of the season. Still, Dak Prescott seems to be pretty optimistic about what he brings to the table for the Cowboys in the upcoming football season.
