Sun Play Final Commissioner's Cup Game Against Fever Tuesday

Indianapolis, IN: The Connecticut Sun (2-8) are back on the road for their final Commissioner’s Cup contest of 2025 to take on the Indiana Fever (5-5) on Tuesday, June 17 at 7:00 PM ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The game will be aired locally on NBC Sports Boston with Brendan Glasheen and Edona Thaqi on the call. It will also be aired live on NBA TV and available to stream on WNBA League Pass.

Last time out on Sunday, the Sun fell to the Chicago Sky, 78-66, at home in Uncasville. Marina Mabrey led the Sun with 22 points, five rebounds and three assists in the effort. She nailed a season-high five three-point field goals, going 5/12 from beyond the arc. Her 22-poinit outing marks her fourth 20+ point performance of the season. She has also finished with 10+ points in all but two games this year. Tina Charles added 19 points, while Jacy Sheldon chipped in 12 points in her fifth start of 2025.

In their last meeting on May 30 in Indiana, the Sun defeated the Fever, 85-83, to pick up their first win of the 2025 regular season. The win marked Head Coach Rachid Meziane’s first win as the head coach for the Sun and also the franchise’s 500th regular season win (Connecticut Sun and Orlando Miracle). Marina Mabrey led the Sun, notching 26 points, along with five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block. She finished 10/17 from the field, including 4/9 from beyond the arc. The Sun are 59-32 all-time against the Fever during the regular season, including a 26-21 record on the road in Indianapolis.

The Fever enter Tuesday’s game after most recently knocking off the previously undefeated New York Liberty on Saturday afternoon, 102-88. Caitlin Clark led Indiana in her first game back after missing five contests with a quad strain, notching 32 points, eight rebounds and nine assists. Kelsey Mitchell chipped in 22 points, while Aliyah Boston added a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Fever.
