David Moyes can only succeed at Everton if he makes ruthless decisions, and he is not messing about.
The structure at Everton is looking firmly aligned as both Moyes and The Friedkin Group know what is best for the club.
Moyes will have to make tough decisions, but the ownership have already done so, with The Friedkins offering wage-cuts.
Abdoulaye Doucoure was someone who rejected this proposal and will be leaving Everton upon the expiry of his contract at the end of June.
Well, the ownership have done their bit, and now Moyes is set to do the same with one player on the verge of an exit.

Michael Keane likely to leave Everton after David Moyes decision
The player in question is Michael Keane, who has had differing opinions about whether he should be retained for next season.
It’s unclear what the plan is for the centre-back, but he no doubt deserves respect after serving the club for eight years as a solid defender.
However, it’s become clear that fans have lost patience with Keane after a disappointing display against Man City.

Due to this, an exit seems viable with the Toffees looking to move past players who are underperforming, and the Liverpool Echo gives every chance at that happening.
The outlet reports that the likes of Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland are interested in the 32-year-old, with Keane set to become a free agent.
Keane is likely to leave due to the offer of first-team football, with Moyes deciding that the centre-back is his fourth choice in his Everton plans.

One key factor should force Keane exit from Everton
With his future up in the air for some time now, the best solution for Moyes and the hierarchy is that an exit is correct.
In Keane’s position, it’s tough to leave a club you’ve been employed by for eight seasons, but the attraction of first-team football is just too good to turn down.
Another key factor that makes this scenario beneficial in Everton’s shoes is Keane’s excessive wage of £80,000-a-week.
Moyes won’t be able to justify giving a supposed ‘fourth-choice’ this high of a figure, and by losing Keane off the wage bill, it can open the door for a new, younger centre-back.
