A member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona recently rejected a contract proposal by way of Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray.
That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/cambio-radical-futuro-ter-stegen-118655524)**, who point towards Marc-André ter Stegen as the player in question.
Shot-stopper Ter Stegen is of course widely expected to be on the move before the summer is out.
This comes with the [imminent arrival of Joan García](https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1932480178510303356), as well as the continued faith being shown in Wojciech Szczęsny, set to leave the German as the odd man out.
A number of clubs from across the continent, in turn, have been tipped as potential destinations.
And as alluded to above, this past weekend, one such club – in Galatasaray – went as far as to table a contract proposal to Ter Stegen and his entourage.
Despite claims elsewhere in the media that as much had been accepted by the representative of the 33-year-old, however, Sport confirm:
‘The sources consulted by this newsroom indicate that the meeting was not satisfactory. Galatasaray’s first offer has not convinced Marc-André ter Stegen. Far from the agreement advanced by the local press, the goalkeeper’s agent would have rejected the Turkish club’s sporting proposal.’
