The full summer transfer window is now open and West Ham are honing in on a number of top transfer targets for Graham Potter’s Hammers revolution.
West Ham were consigned to a watching brief for the first mini summer transfer window between June 1-10.
That was dictated by the fact the Hammers find themselves stuck in the mud over signings due to PSR.
West Ham’s owners say the cupboard is bare for manager Graham Potter as he looks to get his overhaul underway.
That’s until the Irons are able to raise some transfer cash by offloading players.
Potter wants to trim down his squad, insisting there are too many senior players for a club not competing in Europe.
West Ham zero in on players they want
The Hammers boss also wants to lower the age and change the profile of players as he looks to inject some much-needed energy and dynamism into a desperately unimaginative side that have become almost completely reliant on Jarrod Bowen, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tomas Soucek.
Remarkably Soucek is said to be up for sale with Potter wanting to overhaul his midfield in a bid to change the way West Ham play.
MORE WEST HAM STORIES
Bowen and Wan-Bissaka – possibly along with Crysencio Summerville – are not for sale unless truly extraordinary bids are received.

Nayef Aguerd, Emerson Palmieri, Niclas Fullkrug, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Edson Alvarez, Guido Rodriguez, Lucas Paqueta, if cleared of spot-fixing, and a number of others could be sold too as part of West Ham’s plan to raise over £100m in sales.
But who do the Hammers want to spend that money on – if and when they get their hands on it?
Contrary to reports, Hammers News has confirmed with the club that several rumours are not true.
West Ham will not be signing Josh Brownhill on a free transfer, stating they feel they already have better options as things stand.
The Hammers have also flatly denied they want to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Four top West Ham targets named in major update
But now four top West Ham targets have been named in a major update as the summer window fully kicks off.
A highly-rated young midfielder likened to Declan Rice will join West Ham with hotshot striker starlet Daniel Cummings on July 1.
West Ham are hoping to make their first big sale very soon after a major development.
Fabrizio Romano also revealed another Hammers sale is in the works, when speaking over the weekend.

Rangers star and Onyedika on Potter’s wanted list
Now, according to journalist Ryan Taylor, the Hammers are looking to sign two new forwards, a key midfielder and a goalkeeper.
The Mirror reporter says West Ham are keen to strengthen their forward line by signing 22-year-old Rangers star Hamza Igamane.
It has previously been reported that the Hammers were eyeing an approach for Igamane this summer.
The Moroccan scored 15 goals and provided two assists in 27 starts for Rangers last season.
In midfield, the exciting news is that Macaulay and Potter are still pushing to sign brilliant Nigerian star Raphael Onyedika from Club Brugge, according to Taylor.
The report states 24-year-old Onyedika, who was recently man of the match for his country against Russia, is a ‘player of admiration’ for the Hammers.
Hammers News has previously reported Onyedika is Potter and Macaulay’s prime West Ham target and the player they see as key to changing how the side play football.
The third player West Ham continue to push for as they await cash from sales may not go down so well with fans.
Because Taylor states that relegated Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is still ‘among the names under consideration.
Finally Taylor has confirmed that West Ham are hot on the trail of a top wonderkid striker to partner Igamane.
