The Heat are reportedly considering acquiring Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga if they fail to land Kevin Durant or Giannis Antetokounmpo in a trade this offseason.
The Miami Heat are aiming to make a major splash in the trade market this offseason, targeting either Giannis Antetokounmpo or Kevin Durant.

However, if they are unable to land either superstar, the team already has a contingency plan in place.
According to NBA insider Michael Scotto, the Heat are eyeing Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga as a fallback option.
"Miami has prioritized pursuits of Giannis Antetokounmpo (if he became available this summer) and Durant (whom they’re actively trying to acquire) on their wish list ahead of Kuminga, who’s viewed as a fallback option to the two superstars," Scotto reports.
The Warriors are expected to explore sign-and-trade options for Kuminga, whose rookie contract expires this summer.
Kuminga averaged 15.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game this season but struggled to establish a consistent role in the playoffs.
With his development potentially stalling in Golden State, a move to Miami could offer a fresh opportunity—for both Kuminga and the Heat.
