Antonio Brown Places Blame On New Suspect Amid Attempted Murder Charges (Report)

Antonio Brown is quickly becoming one of the most talked about former players in the NFL. His controversial opinions have made him one of the more disliked former players of recent memory. However, his recent attempted murder charges caught everyone off guard.

But Brown isn’t going down without a fight.

A warrant has been issued in Brown’s name stating he is wanted for attempted murder, but he does not seem eager to turn himself in:

Brown is wanted on a second-degree charge after allegedly shooting at another man after a boxing event in Florida last month. It’s believed that a bullet grazed the man’s neck, with spent shells found at the scene.

The former NFL wide receiver was detained by police following the incident but was later released. He then took to social media with claims that he was the victim of a vicious assault and attempted robbery, and was defending himself.

It appears that an investigation into the matter suggests AB was in the wrong as he’s now the subject of serious charges.

But he reckons the media is to blame.

“How TF You go from being victimized unto a attempt to murder you see they control the media,”he wrote in a tweet. “Took a month to change the narrative … A year or 2 them dragging the narrative … Attempt to murder … you see They only want 3 types of [expletives] In America in jail dead or dead broke.”

Folks in the comments voiced suspicions of the charge being triggered after the former NFL star claimed, repeatedly, that he had an affair with the wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom.

“Comments about Gavin’s wife got you railroaded … no doubt about it,” a user wrote.

“Pretty sure the higher ups made the call after ur last couple weeks posts. Poked the bear,” another said.

Whether Antonio Brown turns himself in remains to be seen, but it’s only a matter of time before he’s taken into custody.
