Chelsea begin their FIFA Club World Cup journey today as they take on LAFC.

The Blues will take on the Major League Soccer (MLS) club at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States, home of Atlanta United. Enzo Maresca's squad will be looking to begin their charge with a win across the Atlantic.

The clash against LAFC will be the first of three group games for Chelsea at the revamped inaugural format of the Club World Cup. The Blues will, also, meet ES Tunis and Flamengo as they aim to qualify for the last-16 stage of the competition.

Chelsea's clash against LAFC is scheduled to kick-off at 8pm (UK time) on Monday, June 16 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Yes, Channel 5 will be broadcasting the clash between Chelsea and LAFC in the FIFA Club World Cup group stage opener.

The live coverage will get underway at 7pm, approximately one hour before kick-off in Atlanta, and will be free-to-air.
