Manchester United are showing interest in a summer move for Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi, according to Corriere della Sera (via SportWitness).
The Red Devils are looking to bring in a new shot-stopper for Ruben Amorim this off-season and have reportedly identified the Italy international as a potential replacement for Andre Onana.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper, who earns £200,000 per week at Old Trafford, has struggled to convince since his arrival from Inter Milan in 2023 and there is a chance he could depart in the coming months, with clubs in Saudi Arabia reportedly keen.
Atalanta are under no pressure to sell Carnesecchi this summer, having recently extended his contract until June 2028.

According to Corriere della Sera, Atalanta value Carnesecchi in excess of €40m (£34m) this summer, following his recent contract extension.
Man United have experience of difficult negotiations with the Bergamo-based club, having paid a whopping £72m for Rasmus Hojlund in 2023.
Carnesecchi joined Atalanta’s youth ranks in 2017 and became the club’s first-choice goalkeeper last season, following loan spells at Trapani and Cremonese.
The 'top' 24-year-old goalkeeper, praised as a 'young David De Gea', has made 76 appearances for Atalanta to date, keeping 28 clean sheets and conceding 79 goals.
Man United have confirmed Matheus Cunha as their first summer signing and are expected to further strengthen their attacking options in the coming weeks.
The Red Devils remain keen on signing Brentford star winger Bryan Mbeumo and are also in the market for a new number nine, with Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike now emerging as a potential option.
