Leicester City are back in the Championship, so it makes sense for the club to seek out transfer bargains - especially free agents released by Premier League clubs - as they strive to mount a promotion challenge as quickly as possible.
With finances tight at the King Power - and the club already facing a potential points penalty for breaching spending rules - there are unlikely to be any big-money moves this summer, unless it involves players making for the exit door.
So, seldom has the odd transfer bargain or two been move valuable to the Foxes - particularly if the players involved are top-flight cast-offs still able to make an impact in the second tier.
But Leicester will have to move fast if they want to capitalise as they are not the only team looking to snap-up Premier League talent.
