The Toronto Raptors have been getting a lot of attention lately, especially since they are apparently one of the multiple teams pursuing Kevin Durant.
But they might be thinking up other trade scenarios, too.
According to Evan Sidery, the Raptors “appear open” to trading RJ Barrett because they are planning to prioritize Scottie Barnes, Brandon Ingram, and Gradey Dick in the future.

Barrett just finished his second season with the Raptors, and he averaged 21.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.4 assists.
Those are strong numbers, and he could be a very tantalizing player for numerous teams.
If the Raptors handle this correctly, moving Barrett could end up being a really smart and beneficial choice.
Toronto is looking to upgrade and enhance this summer, but it’s not entirely clear how drastic they will get.
If they actually have a chance at Durant, that could change everything.
But even if they don’t land him, they might be shaking up their roster in big ways.
They want to see how they fare with Ingram in the mix alongside Barnes and Dick.
There simply may not be room for Barrett after this summer.
Where will he go, and who will come back to Toronto in return?
Those are the questions that Raptors fans are asking right now.
Barrett has done quite well in Toronto, which is good news for the Raptors because his trade value is now a lot higher.
Can the team take advantage of that and put together a promising and robust trade package?
