The 2025 NFL Draft came and went with plenty of headlines being made.
The Philadelphia Eagles, fresh off a Super Bowl LIX win over the Kansas City Chiefs, added plenty of talent to their defense with Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell, Texas safety Andrew Mukuba and Nebraska defensive lineman Ty Robinson in the span of the first four rounds.
As it turns out, Robinson made headlines for an off-the-field reason. While many Americans have dogs, cats or even fish as pets, Robinson has a different animal as a pet: A camel.
In a 2023 interview with 1011 Now, Robinson revealed he had a pet camel: Yes, really.
"The story is that my neighbor back home, he needed somewhere to put the camel I came home one day after school and I looked down on my backyard and I about 100 yards away and I went out there and walked in like, really camel in my backyard," Robinson said.
After the draft, a photo surfaced online of Robinson with the camel.

According to Pango Vet, the camel is listed as the 4th most unusual pet to own in the United States, so it is quite rare to see somebody actually have a pet camel.
Then again, Robinson is from Gilbert, Arizona, which used to be known as the "Hay Capital of the World" 100 years ago.
Now, Robinson is fighting for a role with the Eagles, and it remains to be seen whether the camel will accompany him to Philadelphia or not.
