Although Durant has reportedly already decided where he wants to continue his career, the Phoenix Suns still have the final say and are open to trading him to the team that offers the best deal in return.

The Miami Heat are reportedly one of the teams that interest the Suns, and Phoenix is said to be targeting two specific players in a potential deal.

According to NBA insider Michael Scotto, the Suns are prioritizing a trade package from Miami that includes center Kel’el Ware and forward Andrew Wiggins.

Scotto also reported that the Suns have recently done background work on Wiggins and view him as a serious trade asset they’d like to acquire as part of a Durant deal.

Wiggins had a solid season after being traded mid-year from the Warriors to the Heat, averaging 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game.

Meanwhile, rookie center Kel’el Ware impressed in his first NBA campaign, averaging 9.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game.
