Big LeBron James Announcement Turns Heads on Monday

LeBron James is coming off his 22nd season in the NBA, having led the Los Angeles Lakers to the playoffs.

James has been chasing his fifth NBA title, having already cemented an incredible career during his time with the Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat.

Last season with the Lakers, James led Los Angeles to a matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the postseason. They wound up suffering a 4-1 series loss in the first round of the playoffs.

As James works through the offseason, preparing for his 23rd season in the NBA, he has become much more active online, co-hosting his "Mind the Game" podcast with NBA legend Steve Nash.

While the two have been releasing weekly episodes, they announced that they will be in New York on Saturday, hosting a live show at Fanatics Fest.

James shared the news on social media, where he has over 159 million followers.

Upon the release of the announcement, revealing LeBron James and Steve Nash's attendance at Fanatics Fest, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on the news.

In his 22nd season in the NBA, LeBron James averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game. James posted 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the Los Angeles' Lakers Game 5 elimination game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
