Kyle Walker is thought to have agreed a shock move to Premier League rival, calling time on his eight-year stint at Manchester City, according to reports.

The former captain is one of the club's most decorated players, having won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and the Champions League with the side, among other club and individual honours.

But Walker has been on loan at AC Milan since leaving the Etihad in the January window, after admitting that the thought that his career at the club was over made him 'want to cry'.

While in Serie A, the defender made just 11 appearances in club colours, but surprisingly won back his play in the England side under new manager Thomas Tuchel.

AC Milan are believed to have mulled a permanent move for the 35-year-old, but ultimately declined.

However, as per the Sun, Walker is set to stay in the English top-flight after reportedly signing a one-year deal.

Kyle Walker is thought to be gearing up for a year-long move to Everton during the window

The England international is thought to be gearing up for a move to Everton, with Man City and the Toffees locked in talks over either a permanent deal or a 12-month loan.

Another Premier League side - Fulham - are also thought to have enquired about the availability of the star, but were ultimately unable to afford to secure his services.
