Everton and West Ham could “gamble” with a deal to sign Rangers striker Hamza Igamane, sources have told Football Insider.
The 22-year-old did not set Scotland alight in his first season at Ibrox but has shown glimpses of true quality against English and European competition in the Europa League.
Igamane is a target for Everton and West Ham, while Brentford have also been linked with a potential swoop for the Morocco international.
Talent-spotters are as yet unconvinced over his ability to make the step up to Premier League level – but sources say the potential upside is huge if the forward can make the grade.

He hit 16 goals and notched three assists in 46 appearances across all competitions for Rangers in the 2024-25 campaign.
The Moroccan forward started in 29 of those outings and had to share the limelight with Cyriel Dessers – who scored 29 goals in all competitions but is eight years Igamane’s senior.

Igamane only joined Rangers last summer (2024), and the Gers stand to make a huge profit after paying an initial fee of just £1.7million for his signature.
Everton are in need of striking reinforcements with Dominic Calvert-Lewin set to leave the club at the end of this month and Armando Broja already returning to Chelsea after an unsuccessful loan spell.
Meanwhile, West Ham are in a similar situation with Danny Ings leaving on a free transfer and Michail Antonio unavailable after his car crash last year (2024).

Everton could land Longstaff for £10m
Meanwhile, Football Insider has revealed (15 June) that Everton have been told Newcastle will accept £10million offers for Sean Longstaff.
Longstaff is set to enter the final year of his contract at St James’ Park, with his long-term future now regarded as “definitely” away from Newcastle.
Everton and Leeds United are both keen on the midfielder, 27, after his long spell with boyhood club Newcastle.
