As the NBA offseason nears, the Golden State Warriors have some key decisions to make regarding their roster as they try to build a championship contender.
The Warriors will look to upgrade their roster around their star trio of Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, who led Golden State to the second round of the playoffs before losing to the Minnesota Timberwolves in five games after Curry suffered an injury in Game 1.
Of course, the Warriors’ trio are all nearing the end of their NBA careers and Golden State will look to upgrade their roster around them in the offseason to help them compete for a title next season.

With the Warriors’ trio nearing the end of their careers, Curry’s father, Dell Curry, recently weighed in on his son’s future in the NBA.
“He wants to win another title, so we’re not even close to that window yet. But when the time comes, I think he’ll make the right decision,” Dell said about Stephen’s outlook for the rest of his career.
With Dell’s comments, it is clear that Stephen is nowhere near retiring from the NBA as he wants to chase another title with the Warriors, while also helping Butler win his first ring.
This is not a surprising statement by Dell as Stephen is still playing at a high level that saw him be named to the All-NBA Second Team this season.
Curry is coming off a season in which he averaged 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 44.8% from the field and 39.7% from three-point range.

It is clear that Curry still has a ton of gas left in the tank and that retirement is not on his mind despite being 37 years old and coming off his 16th season in the NBA, all with the Warriors.
Because of this, the Warriors now have some key decisions to make this summer as they try not the waste the rest of Curry’s career in the NBA and try to compete for yet another championship.
