Lakers’ LeBron James Issues Exciting Message on Monday

The E1 Dubrovnik Grand Prix, held last Friday and Saturday at Dubrovnik, Croatia, was the third round of the 2025 UIM E1 World Championship. This is the world’s first all-electric powerboat racing series.

Set against the Adriatic Sea, the Aoki Racing Team, led by Dani Clos and backed by DJ Steve Aoki, secured their second win of the season, moving them to the top of the standings. Team Brady, owned by NFL quarterback Tom Brady, finished second, while LeBron James' Team AlUla earned third place and its first podium.

Aoki Racing leapfrogged tennis player Rafael Nadal's team, Team Rafa, to lead the championship. The series now moves on to its mid-season stop at Lake Maggiore on June 27-28.

James celebrated Team AlUla's accomplishment by reposting this post to his Instagram story on Monday afternoon, with the caption "LET'S GO!!!! Just getting started."

On top of championing Team AlUla, the Los Angeles Lakers legend has stayed active both on and off the court. He continues his intense training to prepare himself for the upcoming NBA season. He also co-hosts "Mind the Game" with Steve Nash, which is a sports podcast that breaks down basketball strategy. Off the court, he’s spending quality time with family, such as attending his daughter’s volleyball tournaments and supporting his son Bryce’s college plans.

Team AlUla is competing in the E1 World Championship, the first all-electric powerboat racing series. The two main squad pilots are Catie Munnings and Rusty Wyatt. Thanks to these RaceBird boats, sustainable technology and high-profile leadership, Team AlUla demonstrates James’ drive to expand into zero‑emission motorsports, as well as challenge rivals like Brady’s Team Brady while elevating the series' global footprint.
