Luis Diaz has shared a huge personal news on social media that Liverpool fans will love.

The Liverpool attacker enjoyed a strong 2024/25 season, with his goals and assists helping the club win the Premier League title.

Diaz scored 13 Premier League goals and seven assists, with only Mohamed Salah scoring more goals than him among Liverpool players.

But despite his importance to Arne Slot, Diaz’s future remains uncertain.

The Colombian continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona or a club in Saudi Arabia.

Liverpool are presently locked in contract negotiations with him, but there seems to be little progress so far.

But while the uncertainty around his future continues, Diaz has taken a bold step in his relationship with his longtime partner, Geraldine Ponce.

The couple has been together for nine years, but officially tied the knot in a ceremony held in Barranquilla, his hometown.

The wedding took place at the Inmaculada Concepcion parish, where the couple exchanged vows in an emotional service.

The event brought together family, friends, and notable figures from the worlds of football and music, including Diaz’s former Anfield teammate Fabinho.

Luis Diaz’s partner Geraldine Ponce took to Instagram to celebrate their milestone.

Sharing clips and photos on Instagram, Diaz said: “On the biggest day of our lives, shared with family and friends, I pronounce myself Mr & Mrs Diaz.”

Meanwhile, his wife also posted the picture of the couple of Instagram, saying:

“A date that will remain in our hearts forever. We feel at peace, with a full heart and the certainty that we are where we always dreamed of being: at home, with our people, celebrating the love we have built for 9 years.

Thank you to those who lived it with us; it was a magical night.”
