And just like that, it appears Keith Andrews is about to become a Premier League manager.

Brendan Rodgers and Kieran McKenna have represented the island of Ireland in recent years, but if Brentford follow through on plans to appoint Andrews, he will be the first Dublin-born permanent managerial hire in the English top flight since the late Joe Kinnear’s chaotic 2008/’09 stint at Newcastle.
