Breaking: 3 NFL Teams Refuse To Acknowledge Father’s Day

The NFL is known for celebrating holidays throughout the year. Whether that means having an entire game-day broadcast devoted to a holiday, or having teams post about holidays during the off-season, the NFL rarely misses a beat.

However, there were three teams who missed out on celebrating Father’s Day in 2025.

Three NFL teams are facing backlash online after posting pride messages earlier this month, but nothing for Father’s Day:

Several franchises recognized pride month this June, but they also recognized fathers. According to MLFooball, the Tennessee Titans, Los Angeles Chargers, and Atlanta Falcons weren’t among the latter.

Their tweet sparked outrage on X, with several fans trashing said teams.

“For the titans that is unnacceptable you are in a deep red southern state that is very Christian and religious. You represent your fanbase or else your fanbase will not represent you,” one wrote.

“The Titans wished “Happy Father’s Day” to all the moms. What’s wrong with that?😁” someone asked, rather cheekily.

“Well the @falcons are a terrible franchise so it’s expected,” another added.

One fan claimed the Chargers acknowledged Father’s Day on Instagram.

“Chargers posted on Instagram people complain about everything nowadays,” they wrote.

We have confirmed this, the Chargers did shout out dads in an IG post on Sunday, sharing photos of several players with their kids and families.

The Tennessee Titans have been catching heat a bit longer because they actually shared a post, which they quickly deleted, yet not before it was captured via screenshot.

“Happy Father’s Day to all the Titans moms and fatherly figures,” it read.

While deleting it was the right thing to do, it should never have gone up in the first place.
