Axel Tuanzabe could be in line to follow Cameron Burgess out of Ipswich Town as a free agent.
Over the weekend it was confirmed that Burgess had rejected the Tractor Boys’ offer of a new contract in favour of joining fellow Championship outfit Swansea City.
And according to reports in Turkey, Tuanzebe has been given the opportunity to follow suit by Super Lig side Trabzonspor, despite having a new deal on the table from Ipswich.

Turkish outlet Fanatik have claimed that Trabzonspor boss Fatih Tekke has made the 27-year-old one of his major transfer targets this summer.
Asked back in April if he would be keen to keep the defender at Portman Road next season, Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna said: “Definitely – Axel knows that. We think a lot of him.
“He’s been a very important player for us this season and last season. He’s built himself back up to a good level of form, robustness and he’s found a good home here.
“Of course we’re going to try and if that can be possible I think we’d all be really pleased. I think it’s a good place for Axel as well. Let’s see what the next few weeks bring.”
The former Manchester United player has made 45 appearances for Ipswich since joining the club in September 2023.
