Manchester City forward Jack Grealish has been strongly linked with a move to Newcastle United during this summer’s transfer window.
Grealish looks set to leave the Etihad Stadium, with Newcastle United touted as a landing spot.
Man City left Grealish out of their Club World Cup squad and the writing would appear to be on the wall for him under Pep Guardiola.
Newcastle have been linked with a loan move for Grealish, though a fresh update has now emerged.

Man City confident they will get offers for Newcastle United target Jack Grealish
According to The Daily Telegraph, Guardiola’s side are confident they will get offers for the England international this summer.
Napoli are interested in the former Aston Villa captain but will refuse to meet his £300k-per-week pay packet.
Still, even despite Grealish’s salary at Man City, the Manchester club are optimistic they will receive offers to sell him this summer.
Geordie Boot Boys understands that Newcastle can afford to sign Grealish on loan this summer even if City don’t pay a penny towards his wages.

What Eddie Howe has previously said about Jack Grealish
Liverpool are interested in signing Anthony Gordon from Newcastle this summer, and Grealish has been tipped as a potential replacement.
That would feel like a downgrade, albeit Grealish’s last few seasons at City may not be a full reflection on his quality. If starting regularly elsewhere, perhaps supporters would see more of the player who shone so brightly at Villa.

Gordon has produced much better attacking numbers and is obviously much younger than his rival for a place in the England squad.
Previously, however, Eddie Howe has been impressed by Grealish. Speaking after his side beat City in the Carabao Cup back in September 2023, the Newcastle United manager said: “Jack Grealish is an unbelievable player”.
