GREEN BAY, WI (Dakota News Now) - Timber Lake native Tucker Kraft continued to emerge in his second NFL season as one of the key parts of the Green Bay Packers’ offense despite missing out on most of the offseason training program.
Though the South Dakota State alum wasn’t truly healthy until late in training camp last year due to a torn pec, Tucker went on to haul in a career high 50 passes for 707 yards and seven touchdowns.
Now entering year his third season healthy and fully participating in the team’s recent minicamp, Tucker is ready to take another big step forward in his development.
“I’m looking to put it togehter. I’m looking to have every resource I need based off the repatitions I’ve gotten over and over and over this offseason. Really being able to apply my technique and stack reps. I’ve just got a much better feeling of the game. ” Kraft says.
“Since he’s stepped on the scene he’s kind of shown who he is as a playmaker, and shown us reasons why we should just keep getting him the ball. I think a big part of going into this season is going to be ways to continue to get Tuck the ball and get him as many touches as we can in a game, because he’s a dynamic playmaker.” Packers QB Jordan Love says.
The Packers begin training camp on July 23rd.
