Man City are prepared to accept offers for Bernardo Silva this summer as Pep Guardiola eyes a major clear-out of his first-team squad.
That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, as he exclusively told Football Insider that the 30-year-old may finally be ready to leave the Etihad.
Guardiola has been vocal about his plans to reduce the size of his squad, while Silva is attracting interest from Portugal, Spain and Saudi Arabia.
This comes after Football Insider revealed in February that Man City are braced for offers for Silva in the summer transfer window and is set to assess his future.
There is now a growing feeling that a significant offer could be accepted after the arrivals of Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders, with more still to come.
Meanwhile, Brown told Football Insider on 2 June that Silva could join a seven-man overhaul at City alongside the likes of Jack Grealish and Ilkay Gundogan.

Pep Guardiola makes Bernardo Silva exit decision at Man City
Football Insider revealed in February that Silva will assess his Man City future at the end of the season, as he could be tempted to finally quit the Etihad.
Brown, who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has insisted Guardiola will not stand in the Portugal international’s way should an acceptable offer arrive.
“If the right move comes along, Man City will let Silva go,” he told Football Insider.
“There’s been talk about Spain, Portugal and Saudi Arabia so there’s plenty of interest.
“Pep Guardiola has come out saying he’s got too many players and he wants the hierarchy to get rid of a few to cut his squad during the window.
“From what I hear, Silva is one of the ones he wouldn’t mind getting rid of.
“There are going to be some big changes at City, lots of players coming in and going out.
“They’ve already completed some of their incoming deals, so the focus can now shift.
“So I expect Pep will be willing to let Silva go alongside a few of the other players to clear that space in the squad that he has been talking about.”

Kyle Walker update emerges after Guardiola clash
Alongside the likes of Silva, Grealish and Gundogan, another player who has been heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad is Kyle Walker.
Football Insider revealed on 15 June that Walker has “no way back” at Man City with his future now “all but done” after clashing with Guardiola.
AC Milan opted not to sign the right-back following an unsuccessful loan spell, but a number of Premier League and European clubs are considering their options.
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson told Football Insider on 22 April that Walker will need to take a pay cut to leave the Etihad.
