When Rasmus Hojlund entered the doors of Old Trafford in 2023, he was expected to be a focal point of Manchester United’s attacking line as the Red Devils entered the 2023-24 season.

During this season, we can see that Hojlund embraced goal-scoring across both the Premier League and Champions League with the Danish international scoring 15 goals across both competitions in a season that saw United finish 8th and qualify for the Europa League through their FA Cup victory over local rivals Manchester City.

However, during the course of the 2024-25 season, it can be seen that the 22 year old has failed to hit the same heights of the 2023-24 season with the striker only scoring 10 goals across the Premier League and Europa League campaigns.

This has seen some United fans express their dismay of Hojlund.

This, combined with rumours and reports that Rasmus Hojlund is on his way out of the club and on his way into Europe has created the belief that the Danish international’s departure is now inevitable.

This belief has been furthered strengthened through the signing of Matheus Cunha for £62.5 million from Wolves and the reported targeting of Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen.

Now, according to a report by alfredopedulla, Rasmus Hojlund wants to return to Italy this summer when he leaves Manchester United.

As well as this, he has been reported to really like the Inter option even when the 22 year old has been linked to many Serie A clubs.

If Hojlund leaves Manchester United, he will leave the club with many memories over the course of the last two years which will be remembered in years to come.

With these good moments mixed in with bad moments, do you see Hojlund leaving United this summer and where will he go? Only time will tell.
