Kyle Walker is the latest player to be linked to a move to Everton.
The Manchester City defender spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan and his future looks set to be away from the Etihad.
Everton, as they have done for a number of years, need a right back and reports from a number of outlets state David Moyes is intrigued by the availability of the England international, who almost moved to the Blues when he joined Tottenham Hotspur as a starlet back in 2009.
He has since won everything in the domestic game and the experience gained in that process is said to appeal to Moyes, who has lost senior figures such as Asmir Begovic and Ashley Young from his dressing room this summer.
Whether another veteran right back is the way to go is an intriguing question. The preference would likely be a younger player who could secure that spot for years to come. But with so many gaps to fill in his paper thin squad, Moyes will need to compromise in some places.
He is not the only right back linked to the club - Kyle Walker-Peters, Vladimir Coufal and Kenny Tete also feature amid the reports. The ECHO has written previously that Coufal was not considered a key target when news of his release from West Ham United broke last month.
Walker is also just the latest City player to be linked to Everton, his name joining those of Jack Grealish and James McAtee.
We'll have the latest through what is set to be an exciting summer for the club.
