Former Arsenal forward Lina Hurtig has joined Serie A side Fiorentina. The Swede joined the Gunners in the summer of 2022, winning two Conti Cups and a Champions League during an injury hit three-year spell in North London.
Hurtig, who will represent Sweden at the Euros this summer, returns to Italy after playing for Juventus between 2020 and 2022, where she won two Scudettos, two Italian Super Cups and a Coppa Italia. She previously played for Gustafs GoIF, Umea and Linkoping in her native Sweden.
Hurtig has 70 caps for Sweden, she will join Viola on July 1 after the conclusion of her Gunners contract. She has signed a three-year deal with the Italian club.
