Real Madrid's players have reportedly been hugely impressed with what they've seen so far from Trent Alexander-Arnold in training.
Alexander-Arnold linked up with his new teammates for the first time last week as he traveled to Madrid for his presentation on Thursday, before the squad jetted off to the United States over the weekend for the Club World Cup.
Madrid gets its campaign under way with a game against Al Hilal on Wednesday, when Alexander-Arnold could make his first appearance for the Bernabeu club.
Spanish outlet AS reports that Alexander-Arnold has impressed during his first few training sessions with his new club, with one insider reportedly saying that "physically, he is like a beast."
It is claimed that Madrid's coaching staff have been keen to stress the need for Alexander-Arnold to show intensity in his game, while there is confidence that his defensive play — for which he faced criticism during his time at Liverpool — will improve.
The quality of Alexander-Arnold on the ball is said to have blown staff and teammates away, and he is expected to be one of the team's main set-piece takers his season.
AS journalist Sergio Lopez writes: "His job is to improve his defense, his duels, his one-on-ones. But on everything else, there's absolute unanimity: he's leaving his teammates, the staff, and those who've seen him in his first few days speechless.
"Trent has arrived like a rocket. He'll be the starting right back in the tournament, there's no doubt about it. And in the medium term, a spectacular showdown with Carvajal is expected. Because a Galactico has arrived. It's a reality. He's making an impact."

Speaking at his presentation last week, Alexander-Arnold claimed that Madrid was the only club he could have ever seen himself leaving Liverpool for as he explained the thought process behind his decision to exit his boyhood team.
"To be honest, it was never a question of where to go — it was whether to go or not to go," Alexander-Arnold said. "What I've probably known for a long time is that if I was to leave Liverpool, it would only be for Real Madrid. That was the only club for me.
"Making that decision wasn't an easy decision, I'm not going to say it was easy, because I'd been there for so long and been a part of it, but eventually you have to make a decision. In my mind I've made the right one and it's one I'm very excited about."
