“Incredible How Well He’s Healing”: Brandon Aiyuk Injury Gets Valuable Update From 49ers GM…

Brandon Aiyuk, wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, seems to be busy with his rehabilitation as well as team practices, according to General Manager John Lynch. Lynch spoke to sports analyst Pat McAfee last week about Aiyuk’s recovery from his knee injury, which occurred in Week 7 of the previous NFL season in a game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

While Lynch did reveal much about Aiyuk’s recovery and rehab, he still did not give an exact date as to when the wide receiver will return to play for the team. Aiyuk is apparently not only working on his rehabilitation, but also focusing on mentoring other players through film study and various drills.

“Brandon’s doing a tremendous job coming back. These guys that are incredibly skilled athletes, they tend to heal a lot faster. It’s kind of incredible how well he’s healing, and he’s putting in the work. We’re proud of Brandon, and we’re looking forward to him being part of this team moving forward.” John Lunch spoke about Brandon Aiyuk on his appearance last week on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’.

Brandon Aiyuk is expected to miss the first half of the upcoming football season with the 49ers. The wideout is one of the more senior players on the team, having been with the 49ers after the team selected him as the 25th pick in the 2020 draft.

Aiyuk was also credited by John Lynch for providing his valuable input to the younger players of the team and for being actively present in the training camps despite his injury. Often, injured players like Aiyuk are encouraged to still be a part of team activities in some aspect or the other by sports professionals.

Brandon Aiyuk’s Teammate George Kittle Talks About Team Expectations In Next Season
