Exits are expected at Manchester City over the coming weeks.
The 2025 summer transfer window has been busy for City so far, as Pep Guardiola wanted to add four to five new faces to his squad ahead of the new season, and the legendary coach has already hit that mark with Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri, and Marcus Betinelli arriving at the Etihad Stadium.
The Premier League club do not plan to stop there as Man City remain in the market for a right-back, while a new goalkeeper may also be on the agenda.
Exits will also take place, as Guardiola does not want to work with a huge squad next season, and ahead of these departures, Troy Deeney has told the Spaniard that the legs of one of his unwanted stars have not gone yet.

Troy Deeney believes Kyle Walker’s legs have not gone
Kyle Walker was left out of Man City’s squad for the FIFA Club World Cup, and as a result, the Englishman is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium over the coming weeks.
Fenerbahce made their interest in Walker clear last week as the Turkish giants are keen on signing the defender; however, a more appealing option for the £50m star appeared this week as Everton have now entered the race.

Speaking about this potential move, Deeney thinks it is a transfer that works for both parties, stating that the 35-year-old’s legs have not gone yet.
“I think it works for both. Everton move to a new stadium, and they have 13 players out of contract,” Deeney said on talkSPORT. “Kyle coming in, a leader, used to winning, used to organising. He is still young enough mentally to connect with the younger players. He is not an old 35.
“Once his legs have gone, he is going to struggle. I don’t think his legs have gone.
“I don’t think he goes in and plays week in, week out, but if you look at Everton’s current squad at right-back, Seamus Coleman or Ashley Young, he is better than both of those guys.”
It remains to be seen if Everton can get a deal over the line for Walker or whether more clubs enter the race for the veteran star.
Once the move is complete, the Toffees may also look to bring one of the Man City star’s teammates to Merseyside, as David Moyes is also keen on Jack Grealish.

Everton also keen on signing Jack Grealish
Just like Walker, Man City left Jack Grealish at home for the FIFA Club World Cup, which is a clear indication that the winger is not part of Guardiola’s plans for the 2025/26 campaign.
It was reported last week that Everton and Newcastle are keen on signing Grealish this summer; however, it would have to be a loan deal due to the finances involved in signing the Englishman, as he is currently on £300,000-a-week at Man City, who also want £50m for a permanent move.
Napoli are also keen on signing Grealish, and although the Italian champions are more open to buying the player outright, the 29-year-old’s wages remain an issue.
Only time will tell where the winger ends up ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, but there is now a possibility that both Walker and Grealish could be at the same club when the Premier League resumes in August.
