Report: More encouraging news for Everton as Napoli make decision on Jack Grealish transfer

Everton are pursuing a move for Manchester City winger Jack Grealish this summer.

David Moyes is in need of some attacking reinforcements in the market with multiple forwards leaving the club as free agents.

The money is going to be there for Everton to spend this summer and the 62-year-old manager will want to see new faces arrive on Merseyside sooner rather than later.

Everton are keen to sign Grealish from Manchester City with Pep Guardiola looking to offload the Englishman.

A move for Grealish is looking increasingly more likely, having been left out of City’s squad for the Club World Cup.

With his future hanging in the balance, Everton are now seeing interest grow in the 29-year-old from clubs abroad.

Napoli set to challenge Everton for Jack Grealish

Tottenham have pulled out of the Grealish race which will come as a real boost for the Toffees.

However, this will not provide them a clear run at signing Grealish this summer with strong interest coming from elsewhere.

According to The Telegraph, Napoli are also showing an interest in the Manchester City winger.

There is some good news for Everton as Napoli are unwilling to match Grealish’s wages for him to make the move to Italy.

Although Everton may struggle to match his wages at City, the Toffees could offer him the opportunity to remain in the north west.

Erling Haaland has now commented on Grealish’s future with the Norwegian missing his City teammate.

No quick resolution is expected on Grealish’s future, purely down to the finances involved with his possible transfer.

Grealish could be Everton’s statement signing

Everton News understands Moyes is keen to bring Grealish to Everton this summer and is also showing an interest in Kyle Walker.

Big changes are set for Everton this summer and the signing of a player like Grealish could help push the club on.

The Friedkins want to make a statement signing to open up the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

It would certainly be a statement if Everton could bring in a player of Grealish’s experience and calibre, but they do face competition.
