Best player offered for Kevin Durant so far

Rudy Gobert is currently the best player offered to the Suns in Kevin Durant trade talks, though KD reportedly has no interest in joining Minnesota.

Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant is expected to be traded in the coming weeks, but so far, the team hasn't been impressed with the offers on the table.

According to Evan Sidery of Forbes, the best proposal the Suns have received so far comes from the Minnesota Timberwolves.

That deal is centered around $110 million center Rudy Gobert, a three-time All-Star and four-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

"Rudy Gobert is believed to be the best player offered to the Suns thus far in Kevin Durant trade talks," Sidery reported. "The Timberwolves' offer is built around Gobert and Donte DiVincenzo, two win-now veterans. Even though Durant doesn't want to be there, Minnesota might be the current favorite."

However, there's one major hurdle: KD has made it clear he isn't interested in playing for Minnesota.

Per The Athletic's Sam Amick and Jon Krawczynski, the Timberwolves are hesitant to shake up a roster that just made the Western Conference Finals unless they're confident Durant is fully on board.

Durant, 36, is entering the final year of his current contract in the 2025–26 season.
