Kyle Walker currently finds himself at the centre of a transfer saga involving Everton.
The England international’s future is up in the air after an uneventful loan spell at AC Milan in the second half of last season, with neither Manchester City or the Italian giants interested in keeping him.
As a result, The Sun believe Walker has agreed to join Everton on a one-year deal.
David Moyes is hunting for a new right-back after the departure of Ashley Young.
However, there has now been a twist involving Kyle Walker, as the Liverpool Echo share an update.
Everton not currently interested in Kyle Walker
While the 35-year-old himself seems keen on a move to Merseyside, the feeling may not be mutual.

The Liverpool Echo believe Everton do not view the signing of Walker as a priority at this stage of the summer, with other options on the table for Moyes to consider.
Vladimir Coufal – who Moyes worked with at West Ham – is available on a free transfer, while Fulham No.2 Kenny Tete is also an option.
A player who is almost a namesake to Walker in Kyle Walker-Peters is also under consideration after his contract with Southampton expired.
The ECHO add that Manchester City could allow Walker to leave on a free transfer 12 months ahead of his contract expiring to help facilitate a departure, but his £175,000-a-week salary would still prove problematic as the Friedkin Group aim to operate more sustainably than Farhad Moshiri did at Everton.
Kyle Walker has another option, and it would see Manchester City receive a fee
If Everton decide against making an offer, Walker could join Fenerbahce instead this summer.
The Turkish giants are believed to have already submitted a bid – according to Yagiz Sabuncuoglu – although the amount of that offer remains undisclosed.
Fenerbahce boss Mourinho has also praised Walker heavily in the past, saying: “Before the penalties (between Italy and England at UEFA EURO 2020) my Player of the Tournament was Kyle Walker. I think Kyle Walker was phenomenal.
“From the first minute of the competition he was phenomenal. He was giving cover to centre-backs on the opposite side, I don’t remember him losing one single duel. When I call a player an animal, it’s the best compliment I can give to a player. Kyle Walker, absolute animal.”
Therefore, a move to the Super Lig could beckon for the man born in Sheffield this summer if Everton look elsewhere.
